This is a historical events app - NOT a breaking news application.

Yesterday's News does not collect, store, or sell personal data. The app fetches public historical event and weather information to display on your device. Minimal, non-identifiable diagnostic logs may be written locally on your device for troubleshooting and performance measurement; these logs are not transmitted to any server.

Data We Access

Location (Approximate): Used to show local weather. You can deny this permission; the app will still function with generic weather information.
Network Access: Required to fetch content. When offline, the app uses cached data stored on your device.

Data Retention

Cached content is stored locally and automatically expires after a short period. You can clear the app cache at any time from your device settings.

Third Parties

The app may retrieve data from public APIs (e.g., Wikipedia/Open-Meteo). We do not send any personal data to these services.
